Mission

WILL's mission is to help young people be successful and create a full and meaningful life, no matter what circumstances they face. We aim to inspire young men and women to become leaders among their peers, in their communities, and during their lives through:

• Building self-esteem, self-reliance, and confidence, encouraging teens to push beyond their perceived limitations.
• Emphasizing the 3 R's - Respect for Self, Respect for Others and the Environment, and Responsibility.
• Using “living” classrooms in wilderness and community settings to teach WILL family members how to work as a team, trust one another, and act with integrity.
• Providing WILL members unique experiences they might not otherwise have.
• Fostering a life-long curiosity in teens to learn about each other, the arts, the environment, and the world in which we live.
